Snow-sure resorts are the resorts most likely to be blanketed with snow throughout the season – usually due to their altitude as well as the orientation of their slopes. Resorts such as Val Thorens (the highest in Europe) will be open from early December to May sometimes. Tignes is similar as it has a glacier. Your ski holiday is as important to us as it is to you so we chose these resorts to make sure you can hit the slopes with confidence – anytime in the ski season.
In our chalet resorts that simply does not happen thanks to the preserving and snow-making efforts by the resorts which help to maintain, redistribute and stablise the pistes. Skiers go to these resorts for their consistency and quality all season long. Bear in mind, buying your lift pass in advance can not only save you money but means you would have priority if the sale of passes is limited due to skiers from other areas with limited snow wanting to come to your resort.
