Overview of San Cassiano

At 1,537m and glistening under the looming Lavarela and Conturines massifs, sits the village of San Cassiano. Part of the Alta Badia ski area and located at the eastern edge in a sunny valley, San Cassiano is internationally popular as a ski destination thanks to the immaculately groomed slopes, selection of top hotels and a glut of outstanding restaurants including two with Michelin stars.

The Alta Badia ski area is accessed via the Piz Sorega cable car located in the village, and from there the rest of the Dolomiti Superski area is your oyster.

        Ski lessons in San Cassiano

          What level do you need?

          • Beginner – Never skied before or just a little dry slope experience.
          • Intermediate – Has completed the beginner ski level lessons or can control own speed, change direction on blue/gradual slopes and can bring skis together when turning.
          • Advanced – Has completed intermediate ski lessons or can finish turns with confidence, has good control of speed on red runs and is looking to attempt and master blacks.
