A fantastic all-round ski resort, Alpe d’Huez offers something for everyone. There are runs both on and off the piste to suit every skill level, making it an ideal destination for families or groups with mixed abilities. Known as "The island in the sun!, this resort enjoys 300 sunny days a year on average. But that doesn't affect the snow quality, with an average snowfall rivalling that of its more northern neighbours like Courchevel or Meribel. It's the best winter sports combination: snowy nights and sunny days! With 250km of marketd pistes, and more than enough off-piste, the ski area extends as high as the summit of the Pic Blanc glacier at 3,330m.
