Following the sell-out success of the first two editions of ‘Skiing with Katie & Mizz in Alta Badia’, our brilliant ski weekend is back, with Katie and Mizz set to host another three days and nights of fun on the slopes of Alta Badia, high in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dolomite mountains.
Taking place this season 12-15 January 2025, Katie (@comedowntothewoods) and best friend Mizz (@mizzknits) will host a weekend full of great skiing, delicious food and brilliant Alta Badia experiences… most importantly, all enjoyed alongside a fabulous group. Whether you want to come alone, with a friend, or with a group, you will instantly make new friends, and this will be a weekend break to remember, full of fabulous laughter and fun, all set in the jaw-dropping setting of Alta Badia.
During our three-night break, we’ll enjoy skiing some of the world’s prettiest runs, including the world-famous Sellaronda circuit and the stunning Lagazuoi ski tour, often said to be one of the most beautiful in the world, ending with a magical horse-drawn lift.
There’ll be foodie treats aplenty, with lunches at some of Alta Badia’s best gourmet mountain huts, famed for their collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs, and dinners celebrating the best of Italian cuisine. We’ll once again stay at Ciasa Salares, a luxury hotel in the heart of Alta Badia, offering direct access to the slopes, as well as indulgent rooms, a beautiful spa and delicious restaurants.
Inclusions in our trip are listed below, with flights, transfers, three-night luxury accommodation at Ciasa Salares including use of the pool and spa, ski passes, 2.5 days guided skiing in ability groups, daily breakfast, two lunches and three delicious dinners. The only extras to cover will be additional drinks or treats, or anything in addition to that listed.

Your Accommodation
Nestled amidst picturesque pine forests and majestic Dolomite peaks, Ciasa Salares is a fairy-tale marvel. This family-run hotel offers warmth, friendliness, and superb dining. The Skiing
Alta Badia has 130km of pistes connected by 53 lifts and cable cars. Access to the area between the 3 neighbouring villages and the further ski area is via the Sorega cable car. From there, all skiers will revel on the expertly prepared ski runs and enjoy the breathtaking views in between numerous stops at stylish mountain huts dotted throughout the area. The Alta Badia area is famed for the enticingly wide and perfectly groomed slopes to suit all abilities of skiers.
This trip is suitable for beginners (minimum number 6) and those confident to ski on blue runs or above.

Itinerary
A trip to remember, our exclusive itinerary includes plenty of exclusive treats and experiences:
Sunday 12 January:
- Morning departure from London Heathrow, arrival in Venice & group transfer to Alta Badia.
- Check into the luxury Ciasa Salares hotel, with ski fitting at the nearby rental for those who require it.
- Time for a quick dip in the hot tub, then meet new and old friends over a three-course dinner at Ciasa Salares.
Monday 13 January:
- After breakfast, meet our ski guides and split into groups of approx. eight people, to enjoy a first day on the pristine slopes of Alta Badia.
- Skiing in groups, we’ll all meet up at Ütia Bioch for a delectable lunch with staggering views, for a welcome drink, antipasti starter, and pasta.
- Continue to ski in groups in the afternoon, before returning to Ciasa Salares to refresh, including the option to enjoy the pool, hot tub and spa areas.
- A casual pizza night in the best pizzeria in Corvara followed by some well-deserved fun at the Iceberg Bar at Hotel Col Alto (TBC).
Tuesday 14 January:
- After breakfast, meet up with our guides to enjoy a day of skiing with options to ski the world-famous Sellaronda (for those confident on red runs) or explore Alta Badia’s beautiful slopes from La Villa to Colfosco, depending on ability and preference.
- Skiing in groups, we’ll all meet up for lunch at Jimmy’s Hut, set beneath the dramatic Dolomite peaks, for a delicious lunch, including a welcome drink, antipasti starter and pasta or risotto.
- Continue to ski in groups in the afternoon, before returning to Ciasa Salares to catch up with everyone in the bar, pool or the outdoor hot tub.
- Aprés ski at L’Murin, with a pre-dinner dance, before wandering over to the restaurant at luxury hotel La Perla, for a delectable dinner in their Bistrot. Or at Ladinia restaurant (TBC).
Wednesday 15 January:
- After breakfast, enjoy a guided ski of the Lagazuoi ski tour, including the 7.5km Armentarola Piste, often described as one of the world’s most beautiful ski runs. Our morning skiing will conclude with the famous Noriker horse-drawn ski lift, where skiers are pulled by a fleet of horses, to take us back to Ciasa Salares for a final time.
- 1 pm departure, to transfer back to Venice and our flight home, arriving late on Monday evening.
