Home to three of the most well-known ski resorts in the world, Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens; the Three Valleys or Les Trois Vallées in France is one of the largest interconnected ski areas in Europe. It offers unparalleled diversity in terms of slope style, tree runs, high alpine and glaciers not to mention the variety of chairlifts, funiculars, cable cars and gondolas which will ferry you to the top of the 330+ runs covering 660kms across the whole area.
Each individual resort has its own highlights in terms of skiing, accommodation, après ski and non-skiing activities. Skiworld are proud to offer ski holidays in the three valleys and we pride ourselves on our 1st hand experience of all these resorts…

Meribel
Situated in the middle valley, Meribel offers the best access to the neighbouring resorts of Val Thorens and Courchevel. Pretty streets lined with many traditional chalets built of wood and stone, exuding that ‘quintessentially Alpine’ feel that we all love. The Après is World famous, offering well-known haunts such as a Folie Douce, Jack’s and the ineffable Rond Point (Ronnie’s)

Courchevel
With four villages between 1350 and 1800m, Courchevel offers much more variety than you might hear on the grapevine. Whilst there is an abundance of 5 star hotels in Courchevel, there is also accommodation for everyone. If you’re a foody, Courchevel offers excellent dining experiences on and off the mountain, from Michelin stars to a simple pizza.

Val Thorens
Don’t forget the ‘secret’ 4th valley of Orelle, which is accessible via Val Thorens. When the snow is good the terrain is almost unmatched and well worth getting first lifts for. The relatively small village - which is largely pedestrianised - means it’s easy to find your way to the lifts, to après and back to your chalet without setting foot on a bus all week. As the highest resort in Europe, the snow in Val Thorens is guaranteed from the start to the end of the season. That means the party starts sooner and goes on and on… and on!

Les Menuires
Skiworld also offer self-catered ski holidays in Les Menuires, which sits just below Val Thorens and offers excellent access to the entire Three Valleys. It’s a quieter resort with an abundance of easier runs. Perfect if you want a taste of the Three Valleys without being thrust into the thick of the action.

La Tania
Situated at 1400m La Tania is right in amongst the trees and enjoys some of the best snow conditions when the weather closes in. The relaxed atmosphere and quieter nightlife is popular with families, but the access to the higher slopes of Meribel and Courchevel is super easy via the gondola in the centre of the village.
