Bubble or Quits – Ski Chalets with Hot Tubs

 Chalet Benjamin

Chalet Benjamin, Courchevel

Ski chalets with hot tubs are in high demand, but if this sounds like your cup of tea (or more likely champagne), then you’d better book up quick as they’re among the most popular properties for a ski holiday and usually get booked up first.

Picture yourself soaking in a private outdoor jacuzzi with your closest chalet-mates, watching the snowfall, telling tales of your day on the mountain and getting stoked for what tomorrow’s powder day will bring!

Luxury ski holidays can come with a high price tag. But this isn’t necessarily the case for chalets with hot tubs, if you know where to look and when to book…

We’ve compiled a list of our favourite Skiworld chalets with hot tubs for you. All you need to do is pack the swimwear and you’ll have the perfect spot to relax and take bets on who’s going to be the first back in amongst the bubbles after skiing the next day.

Chalet Jacques, Courchevel (Sleeps 10)

Chalet Jacques is a spectacular example of a luxury chalet, equipped to a high standard yet with vintage style and traditional alpine features, with all en-suite bedrooms. The spacious kitchen is designed with professional facilities and equipment which means all your meals in the warm and cosy dining areas will be all the more enjoyable.

The chalet commands a fantastic position in Courchevel village; ski-in and within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants which you can see from the chalet balconies – which also provide mountain views – while you’re soaking in the luxury private hot tub.

Chamois Volant, Les Deux Alpes (Sleeps 14)

The Chamois Volant is the perfect find for a medium to large group, sleeping 14 adults with the option of an additional three under-12s. With a rustic feel, this spacious chalet shows off a contemporary alpine twist, and offers en-suite facilities for all.

Another bonus for those with kids (or who favour shorter walks) – the lifts, bars, shops and restaurants are just a stone’s throw from your door, giving easy access to ski school and any post ski drinks. This of course also means the distance/ time from the slopes to the hot tub is enjoyably small.

Chalet Leman, Alpe d’Huez (sleeps 10)

Newly built for the 21/22 season, the modern Chalet Leman gives 10 the chance to have a dip in one of the best located chalets in Alpe d’Huez. You will find yourself just minutes from the bars and restaurants, directly opposite to the supermarket and only 100 metres from the slopes.

The Telecentre gondola and the gentle green piste are the best place to head at the start of the ski day, these run close to the complex providing immediate access to the varied ski area.

Chalet Campanula, La Plagne (Sleeps 14)

Location is also a key asset of the next chalet on our list. Sitting in a sunny position in Plagne Soleil, the Chalet Campanula is handily close to the slopes, as well as being conveniently placed for the shops, bars and restaurants.

Chalet Campanula, La Plagne

As part of the Skiworld exclusive ‘Mountain Flowers’ chalet complex, the Chalet Campanula boasts all rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and its own ski room complete with boot warmers. For ultimate convenience the building benefits from being ski-in so, at the end of the day, you can be first in line for cake and the hot tub!

Chalet Laetitia, Meribel (Sleeps 11)

If you’re looking to travel with an odd number there are a few options, including the Chalet Laetitia. Sleeping 11, the chalet gives the perfect starting point to make your way through the Meribel ski area and into the extensive Three Valleys.

What’s more, after the long afternoon soak in your private hot tub, luxuries that really make this chalet extra special include a large cinema room, satellite TV, sauna and heated boot room.

Chalet Estrella, Courchevel (Sleeps 21)

On the other end of the size scale is the Chalet Estrella, capable of sleeping 21 in traditional alpine style. This stand-alone property is beautifully fashioned from local wood and stone.

However, the indulgent outdoor hot tub gives a good indication of the high standard of the décor inside. Stepping inside after a hard days skiing, you’ll be greeted by the expansive living/dining area with exposed beams and inviting open fire.

Situated in Courchevel Moriond, the vast Three Valleys ski area will be waiting on your doorstep, with the Ariondaz and Marquis lifts waiting close by. Excursions out to the shops, bars and restaurants will also be easy, simply take the escalator up to the town centre, around 300 meters from the chalet.

Chalet Aline, Meribel (Sleeps 8)

Chalet Aline is another favourite amongst those looking for a hot tub with a view. Perched on top of the front balcony, you can enjoy the bubbles (both in the water and in your glass) whilst looking out over the peaks of the Three Valleys.

Chalet Aline, Meribel

Trendy yet traditional is the name of the game for the interior décor, with a high quality finish and functional cooking facilities. All en-suite rooms, and balconies offering unforgettable views make the Chalet Aline an ideal choice for any Meribel skier looking for a classic Alpine base to explore the expansive ski area.

Chalet Hellebore, La Plagne (Sleeps 8)

A smaller relative of the Chalet Campanula, and making up two of the five Mountain Flower chalets with hot tubs, the Chalet Hellebore benefits from the same great location and high standard furnishings as its chalet neighbours.

The location to the slopes enables chalet guests to start the day with a run rather than a chairlift, which is always a bonus. Skiing down either the Saint Esprit or Melezes (both blue runs), you can access the La Bergerie ski lift, around 500m away.

Did we mention the view? Well, if you’re looking for a photo to make those at home especially jealous, then the majestic mountain backdrop will certainly help. It will look goosebump inducing on Instagram for sure, but even better viewed in person from the private hot tub.

Chalet Hellebore, La Plagne

Aside from those mentioned above, there are a plethora of other chalets with hot tubs in the Skiworld collection.

In La Plagne, the other Mountain Flower chalets with hot tubs are the Chalet Benoite, Chalet Hepatica and the Chalet Silene.

Back over in Alpe D’Huez, the Chalet Salagou, Chalet Bourget, Chalet Annecy and Chalet Gaube can all be found in the same location as the Chalet Leman, all sleeping 10 and featuring a an outdoor nordic spa.

Also in the Three Valleys, over in Courchevel, the signature collection doesn’t stop at the Chalet Jacques. The smaller Chalet Samuel and slightly larger Chalet Benjamin join the Chalet Jacques at the top of the luxury list, and of course both also have private hot tubs.
